Cafe and Blue Skies in Malá Strana
Here is another favorite image from Malá Strana, where meandering cobblestone roads and canals mingle with elegant taverns and restaurants, near the banks of the Vltava.
What is Prague if not a haven for art and (usually) freedom of expression? This is the famed "Lennon Wall" in one of its incarnations. Always changing, at times completely whitewashed, other times layers upon layers of art, like an oil canvas. But the themes of peace, love, and artistic expression dominate. Lennon wrote of "walls and bridges", and this wall is definitely a positive one; There is an open doorway to a courtyard and this wall is not meant to stifle freedom, but to celebrate it.
