Willet & White Ibis
Here is a white ibis, foraging along the shoreline alongside a willet. Below is a group of willets in an inland marsh. Both of these birds are seen along the Gulf Coast as well as in swamps, on rivers, and in marshes.
The ibis comes in several colors, all with their signature curved beak. Aside from the white variety, less commonly found but quite distinctive is the glossy ibis.
